SD8 partially working

Currently using it on a gig with sd824 + Reaper and have found that it is mostly working.

I have had no issues triggering the play or record, and no issues with seeing the toggle between record mode and playback tracking/no tracking. However, it appears that in record mode, pressing next snapshot is always recognised in Reaper, but doesn't always create a new marker. It's like the latest marker is overwriting the previous marker, but not always. I ran a performance with approx 60 snapshots and Reaper seemed to recognise and mark each snapshot in real time, but looking back after the show it appeared it only captured every 2-3 snapshots.

Is this something that has been seen before?

Hmm, I haven't seen that behavior before, but we'll look into it!

Could you please collect the log file (instructions here) and either attach it here, or email it to us at help@markermatic.com if you don't want it public on GitHub (it will contain cue names/etc) so we can investigate further.

Also, can you please check which version of REAPER you're running?

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner- I haven't been able to reproduce the issue in testing, but based on the logs you sent, I suspect it's a timing issue between the two separate commands we send to REAPER to place the marker and then rename it.

We've got a new release that should be published within the next couple of days that adds specific handling to make sure it always waits until a marker is placed, I'll send a quick update here once it's released!
