Support for FLAC and 24bit 96kHZ and higher

Hi Joerg,

I'm very happy that you pick up the development on that wonderful piece of software again!!! :-D

And I immediately have another question for a feature that you might think about implementing: I have a huge amount of music nowadays in FLAC format with a bit depth of 24bit and a sample rate of 96kHZ (some of them even 196kHZ). Would it be possible to support that as well?

Oh and I should've added that FLAC support is of course independent from 24bit 96kHZ support. I was reluctant to create two separate issues but if you prefer it that way I still will do that ...

Hi Stefan,

I will have a look again whether I find a suitable Python interface for a FLAC decoder.
Concerning high bit-depth support, there would be quite a few things to be changed and I do not think that this it acutally worth it (in general, I believe in 24-bit for mixing purposes, but not for playback).

Thanks for looking into it!
I'm sure it's a personal thing regarding high bit-depth playback but I always have the impression that it's less tiring to listen for a couple of hours if I play the some old Tango music with mpd ...
And yes I know that my use-case is quite a special one ;-)
