Adding labels

Hi! Amazing network! I am trying to recreate this network with my own data because I'm interested in your slider feature, however I would like to show the nodes labels, is there an easy way to do this?
Your help would be greatly greatly appreciated!
I have been trying to do this by combining it with this example https://gist.github.com/heybignick/3faf257bbbbc7743bb72310d03b86ee8 but since I don't know JS I haven't been successful.

Thank you! I'm glad this was helpful. It may be tough without knowing JS, but here's the code from that example that adds the labels:

  var lables = node.append("text")
      .text(function(d) {
        return d.id;
      })
      .attr('x', 6)
      .attr('y', 3);

You should be able to do the same thing in my example, but depending on how your JSON data is structured you may need to change return d.id to return d.name or something similar.

Also, both these examples use D3 v4; it may not work the same in v5 or something.

I have tried adding that code before
node.append("title").text(function(d) { return d.name; });
using your marvel.json and D3 v4, but I keep getting a network without the labels showing :/, any ideas as why it doesn't work?
