GB colors?

I would LOVE a way to convert a game to the Gameboy green scale palette. Maybe NES og GBC too! Is there a plan to make this?

Oh, I missed this issue, very sorry for the delay! For some reason this repo was listed as 'unwatched' for me, I must have misclicked at some point. If you have more questions / suggestions I'd suggest posting on the forum https://forum.makecode.com as I check that all the time

Anyway, I can definitely take a look at adding more palettes, the 'famous' ones are defined here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_game_console_palettes#Nintendo

Before I can add it here I'd have to spend an hour looking into rights over color palettes before feeling comfortable adding them to the list (and I'm not sure how I'd show a 4 color palette versus a full palette), but for now here's a start with colors 2-5 set to the gba green palette (2 is lightest, 5 is darkest):

If you want to make a version with palettes of your own added in as well, you can make an extension of your own that adds in some extra palettes; they're defined like this: if you define them like this: https://github.com/jwunderl/pxt-color/blob/master/palettes.ts#L11 and have this extension as a dependency of your own, they will show up in the dropdown as well :)
