Hi there! I don't know if it would be of any help for you, but I was an avid user of Kit and also contributor to the standard library before it was archived.

I wrote these two articles about it~

I also wrote these bindings, though they are incomplete, to raylib.

This was a fairly complete ECS implementation in kit

Hello! Thank you very much for the resources! They'll be useful to me once I iron out most of the grammar and AST lowering.

Before I learned Rust, I also wanted to get into Kit, only played around a little but always liked the syntax, which is also why I started this project.

As far as you remember, was any "package manager" in the works back then?

I have seen some traces left of what looked like it, like in https://github.com/bendmorris/krit-kit/blob/master/kit.yaml.

Thanks again for sharing these resources! They're incredibly helpful for providing historical context and for future reference.

For now, I'm going to leave this issue open as a reference point while the compiler stabilizes. Once things are more settled, I'll likely close it and turn these ideas into concrete tasks or documentation.
