Orange Pi 5 Max

I tested the OPi5Max image on my Orange Pi 5 Max device and it works fine with the 6.1 recommended vendor kernel.

6.11 or 6.12 of course not, since there is no dts file yet. I have seen some patches for the OPI5 Max devices on the linux-rockchip mailing list, but I had no luck so far yet.
The v2 ones applies fine, but there is a boot issue during hardware initialization.
The v3 ones did not apply for me yet, since there special dependencies which I have not properly resolved yet.

For now I will continue with 6.1 kernel.

I think you can mark the OPI5Max as working.

I should add, my tests are server only. I did not test any UI or USB.
Monitor via HDMI for inital setup yes, but later all ssh and serial.

I have now tested kernel 6.12 and 6.13-rcX. First patches for OPi5Max are on the rockchip-linux mailing list and I added them to the 6.12 and 6.13 kernel.
OPI5Max boots fine and for my server cli use cases all seems working.

HDMI out it working on 6.13-rc. Tested only console, not UI!
