Randomly fail to access console

When I try to access console using labgrid-client, I will get this without console access. I will be able to access the console if I repeat the command multiple times. What could be the cause? Thanks

I tried pengutronix/microcom#57 . But it does not help the issue I have.

Enabling rfc2217 in ser2net solves this issue. See pengutronix/microcom#64 .

The exporter starts ser2net with rfc2217: https://github.com/labgrid-project/labgrid/blob/master/labgrid/remote/exporter.py#L258

How are you starting ser2net?

I started ser2net as a service using systemctl. If not, labgrid-client console will fail.
