Rendering doesn't complete in Jira

I followed the instructions, and got the screenshot appended.

So close, but not quite there yet!

I'm not yet sure what Jira is waiting for (or how to find out!).

The entire result is there (scrolling down shows that) and visiting the react app directly renders a screen correctly.

Actually, this line of index.htm is generating a 502, it seems

However, removing that line from the template gets rid of the 502, but does not fix the problem.

... and that is because all.js is required to be there, it seems.

Adding these lines (from boilerplate in the atlassian connect express templates) solves the problem:
