issues with pentasaber mod colorings by gamegod4

would like for compatibility between these two mods as gamegod4's pentasaber mod remakes the old pentamaul game mode. i use this in 1.29.1 and custom note colors do not function correctly (retaining base game colors) when using penta/septa saber modes.

there is also a closed issue about this on the pentasaber mod which i've checked already.
