Per the title. I'm curious, what's the reason for why this was put into a new repository with the extras repo being erased instead of being archived, or continued from the original extras repository and renamed that the old links are auto-forwarded to the new name, and what the reason was for the original embedded-io-extras crate being erased from crates.io and lib.rs? I'm curious if that was an explicit decision or some kind of knock on effect that happened automatically.
This is a small but pretty useful create, and it's jarring for the many people who have been using it to run into "error: no matching package named embedded-io-extras found" popping up over night and can find no trace of the crate online.
We only found this new repository by going through archive.org to find the original github account and looking through the repository list.
Thanks for your work and continuing to maintain the crate.
