Time for release - Seeking testers

It's time to make a release, but as none of us have access to all combinations of supported host OS and devices I'm requesting help validating the current state of things.

I expect us to conclude #161, but this isn't impacted by these variations.
As such, the candidate for testing is b4030fa (qdl version v2.2-56-gb4030fabe6e3)

Please reply here with host OS, host architecture, target device, summary of what was tested and the results thereof.
