And since hotkeys are now crashing for anyone who isn't running 15.0 or newer, it's time to replace MASShortcut.

Disregard this, I already arrived at a solution by fixing MASShortcut. It unfortunately had circular bindings causing a feedback loop that only happened on most systems running macOS versions older than my dev machine. I never experienced it because I completely missed that period of macOS by not having a Mac ready for quite a while.
