No IP Address When Connected Through Ethernet

Brief Bug Description

When I have my phone connected through and ethernet cable (using an adapter/hub) the app tells me the server is stopped and it is waiting for a network. Upon connecting a wifi network this error goes away.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Connect the phone using an ethernet cable.
2. Open the Transfer app.
3. See the "Waiting for network..." show up.

Expected Behavior:

The app should be able to get an IP even when the user is connected using ethernet.

Actual Behavior:

App fails to get an IP, making the server impossible to start

Device Info:

Device: Samsung Galaxy A33 5G (SM-A336B)
Android Version: 15 (OneUI 7.0)
Transfer version: v0.4.2 (F-Droid)

Hi,
Currently the app does not filter for eth0 interface, because android interface names are not consistent across devices,and I am not sure all manufactures actually assign the adapter in this interface.

Keeping this open for future support.

HI, thanks for the response. I would love support for this in the future.
My plan was to use my old phone as a cloud storage that stays at home. To connect to it I would use Tailscale and it would be connected through Ethernet to reduce the heating and increase the speed. I don't know if you think this would be a good idea or not.
