Downnloading a video file (67.6MB) returns 500 Internal Server Error #66

To Reproduce
select a folder which contains at least one larger video as "shared folder" in Transfer preferences
Then start the server.
Then on some client (I used a laptor) just open the web page a click on download of the video file
Expected behavior
it downloads the file
But in practice it does not download even a byte and instead the server immediately returns 500 Internal Error error.
