Add spinner on the save data action.

Now that we are saving full resolution images to disk, this is taking quite long (2-4 seconds) and the user needs to be aware something is actually happening.

reduced images back down to 640x480 to bring our performance back to speed. also decided that the full res images are too large to be sending large collections of them over the network.
leaving this open because its still a good idea just not needed right now.
