Same behavour - seems to be a regression in 0.12.0. Going back to 0.11.8 temporary resolved the the issues for me.

0.12.0 uses our new auth package that should be much faster, but could have regressions that made the subscriptions stop appearing. Can you check what you have for the azureResourceGroups.selectedSubscriptions setting, and make sure the expected subscription ID is in there, or if there are no values at all? Also, what do you see when you expand the Accounts and Tenants view?

Folks here, can you try running one of these Azure CLI commands to see if that unblocks things? It will help inform what the fix on our end should be.

Bash:

CMD:

az account get-access-token --scope https://management.azure.com/.default > nul

PowerShell:

az account get-access-token --scope https://management.azure.com/.default > $null

This command is trying to get a token for the default management.azure.com scope, and then piping it to the void since we don't actually need it. I expect it may trigger an interactive sign in for some...if it doesn't, but errors, try az login first?
