Application Insights connection auth error: "message":"Valid authentication was not provided","code":"AuthorizationRequiredError"

I am not able to query the data from AppInsighs, I'm getting "message":"Valid authentication was not provided","code":"AuthorizationRequiredError" error.
The provided credentials are correct, because I can see the AppInsights schema in Kusto: Clusters menu.

I'm experiencing the same issue. The Kusto cluster appears connected in VS Code - I can browse the AppInsights schema and see tables like exceptions, requests, etc. But when I run a query in the notebook (e.g., exceptions | take 10), I get the error: "Valid authentication was not provided."

Has anyone found a workaround for this?
