Plan & Feature Request Thread for v3

Hi, I'm the developer of ChipAnnotationViewer. I'm planning to rewrite UI and add a bunch of features, and I'm looking for features that are missing in the plan.
If there's anything you'd like to see, post it here!

My current plan:

Core:

• support nested elements
• add more types of elements (arrow/link/..., tell me more)
• submit/update your annotation entry in the same page via OAuth application or by providing personal github token, instead of going to github issue page to submit comment
• share annotation with the current view of image
• support undo and redo

UI:

• rewrite UI with vue3 + component library, hopefully it will look relatively modern
• a hello page with folders of chips to open and search (with thumbnail)
• manage nested elements with tree-view editor
• support more selection methods (rectangular/lasso)
• edit all properties for multi-selected elements
• right click menu for selected elements
• add share button

Rendering:

• smooth transition between zoom levels
• custom color & alpha
• export full image or selected region to JPG/PNG
• compare two chips left-right with or without sychronized view
