Duplicate Tree in processed files

Hello Again,

So each root file has two trees with the same name, and the same information. Is this effecting the size of each file? I assume it is, and may cause problems for space later on. Is there a fix for this?

Hi Peter,

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I think I have seen this many
times and the answer is that all data is only once in your root tree, but
ROOT points sometimes two times to the same data.

This could be the reason:
"In case you mean 2 tree headers in your file name;1 and name;2, it means
that the TTree::AutoSave function has been called during the filling of
your Trees. each AutoSave writes a new key for the current version of the
header. In case your job crashes you can always recover all entries up the
last Autosave."
