There is no option to modify an installed color theme

I've installed a theme from the addon store and want to make a few small changes.

https://color.firefox.com/ has no mechanism to do so, or if it does it has utterly alluded both my clicking every button on the page and reading a dozen forum threads on the matter.

Expected behavior:

A button next to 'export', maybe labelled 'import', which allows the user to select an installed theme or upload an xpi file.

Actual behavior:

Nothing at all.

Would love this. Really any way to import would be fine. zip, xpi, json manifest or even a "preset" that is the current theme the browser uses when opening Color.

I'm looking at a nice theme image but it has some bad color choices for toolbar/background of the address bar. I can barely see some toolbar icons with the theme <.< But would love to use the default dark theme and add the image in there but at the moment that seems to be a gigantic pain ( dozens to 100+ manual copies and match strings from manifest to UI).

Currently one would also have to do it all over again in case the "saved" (wherever that is) theme preset is lost.

And i would make creating a more advanced theme so much easier. At the moment it seems one is stuck to use a different version of Firefox to even preview your own custom theme.

Same here. I made a theme that doesn't look too good with vertical tabs so I want to edit it without having to remember all the settings I used when I made it.
