Add color picker

The color chooser UI should have a color picker so the user can pick any color from their desktop, or page or open document.

There is currently no extension or web platform API in Firefox that enables the color to be picked very easily.

A reasonable alternative is to use existing picker functionality from OS-specific external applications or widgets, and then copying the desired color to Firefox Color's existing color picker.

If the EyeDropper API or equivalent were to exist, it would be easier to offer the requested functionality. Although Chrome introduced such an API, it has not led to adoption of the API in Firefox: mozilla/standards-positions#557

I still think the color picker should, at least, use Firefox's own Eyedropper tool to pick existing colors from the web browser: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-eyedropper-tool-firefox

Chrome-based browser have pushed forward with their own implementation (although I would still follow the comments you provided above) see: https://www.kirupa.com/javascript/eyedropper_colorpicker.htm and https://pickxcolor.com/en
