App does not load any music file

Expected behavior

The app should load existing music files on the device storage (internal and external cards)

Actual behavior

I can't get to see any of my musics when I opened the app. (Only a list of genres could be found)

Symphony gets information about playable files from the Android media manager. A number of other apps including, I think, the stock AOSP music player do that as well. Is your music visible on other music player apps?
