PS:I find the method you fetch the data is through parser html, but if you want to merge the local data to the network, it'll be very difficult.

I am having the same error. I know this project hasn't been active in awhile, but I wonder if there's a solution for this issue.

I was able to go past that error by installing 2 SSL Perl modules, but now I get:

Couldn't get redirect. at /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.1/Net/Google/Tasks/Fetcher.pm line 113, line 2.

FYI I've fixed this issue and the whole of main.pl works now. You can grab it in my fork at https://github.com/suan/Net-Google-Tasks
