osx 10.15 intel try : brew + wget2 = ofStart.sh fail

Hello Dimitre,

I finally took some time to test this, thanks for your efforts.
I know it's unsupported on Intel mac, but wanted to try.

Here is my report.

wget2

ofStart.sh uses brew to install wget, which requires netpbm, which runs into infinite (10h+) bash build loop, consuming full CPU.
I tried with MacPorts, but no success again. (fails on pinentry dependency).
I haven't tried to compile wget2 manually from source.

I guess wget2 is because it works good cross-platform ? (rather than platform-native solutions)

I definitely prefer Brew (for its stability), which favours binaries for recent OSes.
MacPorts seems to be better for legacy systems (as they provide binary builds for LTS+), but not for this package.
Anyways, wget2 seems a bit hard to get working on osx 10.15 (intel).

Intel

Apple is depreciating hardware and software really fast nowadays.
Intel Macs won't last long (and will probably use linux instead ?), maybe it's not even worth supporting them ?

Nice thanks for testing. Didnt know wget2 was problematic. if you have gh installed (github command line) it will use this instead. Script can be easily updated to fallback to wget or curl. it is doing this already in some platforms.
wget2 was just to speed up libraries downloads since 5 parallels downloads are really fast, even in a radio rural connection (which was my internet last year)
feel free to submit a PR. maybe we should have an optional parameter in libs.sh so wget is not enforced.
or try gh command line.

About Intel, it is "almost" working and I use for some legacy projects. would love to make it run since legacy machines still deserve some love.
ofLibs is probably 90/95% universal libs, but some meson based are problematic (cairo, and mango dep. lcms2)
it can be built if we use some scripts which I am avoiding now, ofLibs is 100% working in Chalet.

but I will accept pull requests if anybody want to fill the gaps building this scripts.
meson should run twice, one for each architecture, then output libs should be combined in one "fat" lib, thats it.

the alternative is just download latest OF and pick some missing downloads from there. In this case it would be great to have a script to do that since libs are meant to be freely reinstalled anytime to be up to date

@Daandelange Today I've updated mango dep. lcms2 to use CMake, so without using Cairo is already possible to build for intel.

You can create in your project folder a file called App.xcconfig with the following:
You can also use the same settings on Project.xcconfig, but subsequent ofGen calls will overwrite. App.xcconfig wont' be touched.
In near future I'll add of.yml architectures parameters so no more xcconfig fiddling needed.
