After the proof-of-concept V1 I wanted to improve on the design and make it more flexible and improve the symmetry of the flexure.

Improvements

• symmetric hinges, first hinge now also a smooth curve to stay in elastic regime
• more compact design
• flexible optic mount

As for V1, the design is printed in a +3,+3 deg configuration, so that a single setcrew can actuate over the entire range [-3,3]deg.

Fitted with a 1-inch mirror it seems to adjust well enough. it seems to hold the weight against gravity.

Points of improvement

• Optic is held in place by single setcrew. Could damage optic, so putting a bit of flexy SLS nylon in between would make securing the optic less scary
• The M2.5 screws are a bit tricky to print to size with SLS. Will swap them out for a pair of M4 I think.
