(F-Droid) Web page not available

Hello,

Opening a .odp document throws an error about downloading something on a port of the device. It's only on the F-Droid build, on the google play build, the document is opened (but the app crashes from the lack of google play services, that was expected).

I add the screenshot of the error and the odp document (nothing too personal).

potentially a permission error with the localhost http server?

I just want to confirm the exact same bug with F-Droid version on a Samsung Galaxy S10 (beyond1lte) running iodeOS v4.24.

maybe because it is not preset here https://github.com/opendocument-app/OpenDocument.droid/blob/main/app/src/pro/AndroidManifest.xml ?

other than that I can only imagine that fdroid has different permissions for local http servers

If anyone has contact to the F-Droid maintainers, please ask them to roll back to the previous version for now. I did the same on Google Play now (due to another bug).

The F-Droid build removed INTERNET permission since we also removed the network related functions. Is something changed in 3.34 so this permission is required now?

ah, there you go. yes it is required because we use http now to communicate to the webview

Installed the 3.39 update from F-Droid on android 15, and it's now working as intended. Thanks a lot!
