segmentation fault

I compiled the latest code in git on macOS 12 and the osgdem and vpbmaster programs crash on launch:

% osgdem
Adding terrainTile 
DataSet::_run() 0 0
Now checking for plug-in osgPlugins-3.6.5/osgdb_nvtt.so
zsh: segmentation fault  osgdem

% vpbmaster
Adding terrainTile 
zsh: segmentation fault  vpbmaster

FYI, it's 9 years since I actively worked on VirtualPlanetBuilder, it's not been widely in the last 5 years so I haven't attempted to keep up with support issues, and have to concentrate my time that are being actively used.

Ok. I'm just reporting the problems I observed.

Now checking for plug-in osgPlugins-3.6.5/osgdb_nvtt.so

I should mention that although there are 95 .so files in /opt/local/lib/osgPlugins-3.6.5/, osgdb_nvtt.so isn't one of them. MacPorts openscenegraph is configured without nvtt:
