Setting page numbers in Oultine form doesn't transfer to Text form

It would be great if the page numbers set in the outline form page transferred to the page numbers in the text input form.

In order to link text to the outline form, I first needed to copy it over to the text form. However, the page number span for transcription in the text form doesn't yet correspond to the page range set in the outline form.

Ultimately, it would be great to provide text edit links directly from the outline form when any new text isn't yet available to be linked.

Sorry. The form called "Texts" in between "Outlines" and "Annotations"

The page numbers are set correctly at the lowest level of the outline, but
possibly not at the higher levels. Will have to check that out.

I tried to reproduce this bug and I can't. Can you show the outline and outline item (resource) where this happened?

I'm remembering this issue better now.

The actual behavior was that I made the outline but it wouldn't execute (I think) until I had actually gone to the Texts form and created the text. Then I could go back to the Outlines form and click the radio button indicating which text the outline entry should be associated with. It wasn't clear to me what the purpose of the page range in the Outline form (aside from a reference). The page number directly associated with the page image was set in the Texts form.

The expected behavior was that I'd set the page range in the Outlines form and then create the text in the Texts form via the edit link to the side of an outline entry in the Outlines form.

Here's one thing I am seeing. I can't correct the association between the page numbers and the transcription in the Texts form page regardless of where I change the page number (or page range).

The reason appears to be that my login/authentication isn't transferring to the new window for the Texts form page opened from the edit (outlined) link in the Outline form page.

Try going to the Texts view, open the file and press Metadata > Set sources
and status

The pages are editable there.

Save the file if the new range is correct.

If the problem is an authentication one, open a new issue, specifying your browser and version. Confirm that your browser can accept cookies, is not in incognito mode and is not running extensions that change Javascript (like GreaseMonkey).
