[build] x86 toolchain requires sudo and puts random files in $HOME directory

Describe the bug
When building the toolchain, I don't want it put random stuff by default in my $HOME directory!
And don't install the toolchain on my system. Also your script expects ubuntu but I'm using arch.

Expected behavior
No unwanted files in $HOME and no sudo prompt
