No mapillary requirement to upload pictures

I've got Osmand from f-droid.org because I'm sure all there comes as secure FOSS.
When I tap on a map element and then "online pictures" at its data sheet, I see the option to add photos. If I use this feature, I'm asked to install "mapillary". Link redirects to osmand.net website

I look for "mapillary" in f-droid.org catalog and I don't find anything.
