Extract PEPPOL invoices received via AS4

Hi,

I deployed an AS4 endpoint for testing using your phase4-server-webapp project, and now I can successfully send messages to this AS4 endpoint via phase4-peppol-client.
However, I am currently a bit confused about how to read the received invoices. Is it possible to use a component or plugin approach to format and retrieve the received invoices by date, recipient, and invoice summary information (for business system usage or storage in a database)?

Thanks for your question.
Please note, the correct writing of Peppol is "Peppol" and not "PEPPOL".
phase4 is a generic transport adapter that deals with the AS4 format for you - it does not provide a fully fledged "invoice portal".
To actually handle the incoming document, you need to provide the necessary code in the class StoringPeppolIncomingSBDHandlerSPI - e.g. forward to your internal backend system for processing.

StoringPeppolIncomingSBDHandlerSPI this solution can handle data accessed via the entry point. If you wish to parse data from directory dumps later, what component(s) can be used for this purpose?

When you stick to this file layout, you can read the .attachment0 file as it contains usually the decrypted SBDH
