Error when use with cocoapods.

Hi!

I install it with cocoapods.
When i compile my swift project, i have this error :

Could not build Objective-C module 'Obfuscator'

Have you any idea ?

Does this happen for other objective-C based cocoapods?
Can you try:
pod "AFNetworking", "~> 2.0"
Can you send me a sample project where this happens so I can look into it?
Also, can you clean and then do a fresh compile and see if the error returns?

Hi!

I have som others objective-C libraries installed by cocoa pods (like MBProgressHUD) and they work.

In my research, i found another linked error, in the "Obfuscator.h" (in the CommonCrypto include line) :

include of non-modular header inside framework module 'Obfuscator.Obfuscator'

I search in this way but if you have any idea, i take :-D !

Apparently, my issue is known and is about cocoapods with Xcode 7.1...
(Issue #4420 at cocoapods)

Can you still send me a small sample project that highlights this issue and the CommonCrypto issue.

Regarding the CommonCrypto issue, it maybe because I need to include the Security.framework in the cocoapod file for this library.

This website says it is a Swift problem. They suggest this solution:

So I am having this issue as well and non of the suggested "fixes" in the SO thread worked for me. The way to replicate this for me is to add the use_frameworks! tag in your pod file and then run pod install. My project is Obj-c first but we are adding new functionality in swift. I need to include some swift pods but at the moment I cannot due to this bug. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can do!

If cocoa pods is causing problems, just add the .h and .m files manually.
I've never had issues with cocoapods but I've heard of many bad stories.

I've found a solution for this. Hopefully this will be pulled in and a patch version will be pushed shortly!

My PR to fix this has been pulled into master. It looks like a new pod version has not been pushed to the trunk yet.

However in the mean time you can depend on the master branch explicitly.
pod 'Obfuscator', :git => 'https://github.com/pjebs/Obfuscator-iOS.git', :branch => 'master'
