Top and bottom reduction and more

Hi, I am using this on TM T88V
I obversed some missing specs;
Print size is equal to document size. Which inserts spacing where there shouldn't be.
Also, there is a margin of about 2cm to the left and 1cm to the right.
Also, there isn't the top/bottom space reduction like the original driver for the TM T88V.

This is understandable, you designed this for your epson model.
Is there any chance we could request these functions/specifications? I would be willing to pay you freelancer fees to get this added. Maybe others will contribute too. Email me at doryzawahry@icloud.com if you are willing to take on the extra work. Thanks!

Hi @doryza, for top and bottom reduction give #13 a try. Should work on any model.

Oh wow, that was there all along. Thank you for pointing it out. Thing is, I need a little guidance. No idea how to make the necessary changes.

@gajdusek can you help me with a step by step guide to install (with all your contributions and mods) on a raspberry pi running raspbian jessie? I can't seem to get the margin reductions to work, nor the idents.

Just to follow up.. I made changes re-built and this solved my issues with top and bottom margins.

here ya go.. u can just unzip.. make.. then make install.. ppd file is there.. i moded mine a bit it will create a default one if u make and make install.

I'm a newbie with pi commands. How to I run the install? Can I just use the PPD after I set up CUPS?

you unzip that file to a temp folder... as root. .. type: make.. after it stops.. type: make install.
that's it.. u can edit the new ppd file in /etc/cups/ppd or copy the one over i gave you.. either or.. i only made a small change to it. be sure to install cups firstly.. apt install cups

Awesome freebs65, it worked marvelously!
One thing remains though, would you be willing to fix the width?
Right now, it perfectly centers however it doesn't use the full width of the paper. I would say there's about 15-20% of the sides not being used. If you're able to tweak; give me a shout!

look at my settings for 80mm*200mm I set my dpi to 195 and my left margin 10.0 it will make it perfect.. well at least for my TM-T88V printer. using 80mm rolls - adjust to suite ur needs - I can't tell you the way to move it without seeing an example
