Question about usage #15

Dear developers,
I am interested in using this code in my PhD thesis (using the appropriate references), and I am trying to find out how it works.
The aim is to subtract the background stars and measure the flux of a Solar System object.
The procedures described in the user guide available in Kerry Paterson thesis is still working?
Despite the thesis, is there some complementary material available?
Can I install it in Lubuntu 20.04 LTS (personal computer)?
