Unfortunately, I'm now a little confused about where I intended to put this code.

I now remember that I decided that it's too difficult to try to recreate the entire spp.key using scripts only. Many of the corrections were manually contributed by various people. So these lines don't need to "go" anywhere, per se. The changes just need to be made, saved (the .csv and .RData files saved), and the package rebuilt.
