Nvme boot seems not to be working on Rock5ITX+... can this be fixed by a new U-Boot?

Thank you @yogo1212 and sorry for the wait. My problem was a bit different, I installed edk2 to the Rock5-ITX+ SPI and tried to boot an Armbian installation from this. But no matter what I tried, it always failed, especially when I burned the image to an Nvme and tried to boot it.

I removed EDK2 now and installed the Armbian Bootloader (I guess a U-Boot) directly to SPI flash and this does pick things up... But now I am in the next issue as Armbian with Kernel 6.1.115 somehow cannot recognize the Nvme - and I think it won't boot either with that. But thats a thing for the Armbian forums. Thanks for trying to help.

if you want to be using armbian, you can always go for SATA.
otherwise, the solution using edk2 for booting EFI images is probably the best option. just need to make sure the efi partition is populated and kept up-to-date. forky and sid have new enough kernels (>6.13 has the refclk fix needed for SATA).
