How to solve offset issues?

hello. thank you for your tool.
please kindly let me give you guys one sample:
I have two PDFs. One contains 52 lines of records, while the other has 53 lines. The difference is that the second PDF has an additional line of data inserted at the 40th line. As a result, all the data from the 40th line onwards is offset (shifted down by one line) compared to the first PDF. All the other data in both PDFs is exactly the same.

what should i do if i only want to highlight the 40th line? any ideas ?

Unfortunately that is not easily possible.
PdfCompare is a very simple tool that uses a very simple approach to detect differences: pixel by pixel comparison. It has no understanding of the content and as far as I know, similarity detection is not an easy task in this setting.
