Rendering completely absent?

Working on the 11/9/2025 Windows binary (the last commit which appears to have built) of the MapEditor, while I can see a full breakout of the hierarchy in the left sidebar (ffxiv/twn/f1t2/level/f1t2 Old Gridania), and coordinates on the right, there's just a blank box in the middle, even with several of the elements selected for visibility as shown in the sample screens. Either I am missing something as a brand new user, or rendering is flat out broken.

Possible anomaly: both game and tooling are installed to D: not C:

Rendering isn't supposed to be broken, but I haven't tested rendering on Windows in a while so that might be why 🙈

exactly why I posted, after reading a different issue from another Windows user :)
Just lately matched a random off-grid area in 1.0 to a youtube of data allegedly kicking around unused in 4.x, and I would love to see if I can confirm it in anything more current

I restored the Windows build, can you try that once it's completed? I can see rendering in Wine, but if it's still absent for you then I'll try real Windows.

Love the map picker refresh.
I suspect that the automatic checking of the visibility checkboxes for an intuitive subset of map elements will ultimately be a good QoL.
Alas, still no render (although it does stall for a few seconds as if it's really thinking hard about it).
Also, likely because it's an hours-old piece of homebrew software, Windows throws a "Unknown publisher - we don't know what this is so we recommend not running it" box.
