Facing Issue with running procon. #1

Hi require-gio,
For the given examples, the procon algorithm works fine. I tried running procon in other larger files, and it seems like it takes forever to run - I think I am at mistake here on how to run this properly. Also, the multi-core part of the code (where it divides large log into chunks of size 10 - it throws error. And hence, I had to convert it into a serial code.
Am I missing something? Would be grateful for any help.
