Auto Log Call Feature

The auto log call feature works well. However, it logs a call to a Contact as an Activity in Redtail. Is it possible to log it as a Note instead of an Activity? It would be helpful to change where the auto log is logged because the Notes section is much easier to view within the contact record. Not to mention when it's logged as an Activity it places an Calendar Event on the calendar which is confusing and not needed. Can this be updated?
