Color not selected on OSX Catalina (10.15.2)

Hello, I have a Mac mini (Late 2012) running Catalina. The eyedropper tool does not change when a color is selected. Not sure if this is a known issue or can be updated, but wanted to share my experience. I've used Iro in the past and loved the ease of color selection.

🤔 my first guess would be a permissions problem, i'm on Catalina so I can test and see about fixing this!
