Tracking of compile time embedded dependencies

I doubt there is much we can easily do here, but I noticed this conversation on Twitter and it got me thinking that unless we stored the paired version of Rcpp with dplyr we'd be vulnerable to having a different version of RCpp coming out of the lockbox than that which compiled dplyr... which I take it (but don't quite follow yet) is bad. https://twitter.com/romain_francois/status/881067484824162304

I think installing dplyr from source, as opposed to a binary install, would solve your problem
