Profile Metadata fields appear to be broken.

Unclear to user (i.e. me) when metadata fields are supposed to work or not (instance-dependent?).

Profile metadata fields are shown in Edit Profile, but don't appear to be saved/submitted, and do not persist when returning to the same screen after adding.

Reference instance pleroma.site doesn't appear to have metadata fields when updating profile, need to determine:

• Whether this feature is supported in Pleroma.
• If it's broken client, or server-side.
• If it needs to be shown/hidden dependent on supported API version per instance.

Wasn't aware, thanks! Will make a note to hide these fields for accounts on Pleroma instances.
