Can't open graph path files

I have `contigs.paths` and `scaffolds.paths` files created by SPAdes, which appear to match the graph path format mentioned in the wiki here, but when I try to open them in Bandage it says the file format is not a recognized graph format. Is there something I need to do to SPAdes output so that Bandage can open it?
