Grab bag of queries/issues

[textbook]

• license field in package.json (Unlicense) doesn't match LICENSE file (Apache 2)
• ignores PORT environment variable
• creating the app and listening in the same file makes it harder to test with e.g. Supertest (the official generator splits them into app.js and bin/www)
• no tests!

I'm happy to PR any or all of these if they're in scope for what this accelerator is intending to achieve
