Rewrite in Typescript and general improvments

Hey all,

Is there any interest in this library? Are enough people still using it? I was thinking of slowly refactoring the library to Typescript and make general improvements to it. Still keeping it mostly feature complete with what it is today. But before expending the effort, just wanted to get a general feedback from the users.
