edge seem to be used interchangeably with arc, needs checking

Sometime we use the word edge, sometimes arc, this needs to be checks.

My understanding is that the term arc refers to a directed connection between two nodes, whereas an undirected connection between two nodes should be called an edge. Did you observe different word use in the specs?
