Scribus 1.7 Desktop Publishing - Just an Ad for Scribus

Can you use Scribus for professional desktop publishing? Yes.

An issue is maybe the lack of documentation how to use it.
But with Version 1.7.x it was never easier to do so and it's getting better then ever.
Thank you all of you for creating such a great product.

Would you mind defining a license for their usage?
I fear that the license attached to the images you are using will restrict your freedom in defining the license of the screenshots...

CC-BY-SA would be perfect! (we would need a name and / or an url to attach to them)

Oh, you can do whatever you need to do for your documentation about Scribus. I can't prevent people doing whatever the want to do anyway, so... ;) Happy hacking.
I updated the images see above. I used it primarily to explore the possibilities and limitations of Scribus - and to help make it even better.

I first designed a GRID SYSTEM - and it works great, as you can see - within a MASTER PAGE, left and right side. Put also placeholders for page numbering.
Then I just placed some text and images.
But you can use basically whatever you need.

I think it works great for up to 20+ pages, even 100+. Would be very cool if it's usable up to a million pages... it has to be... :)
