"Through all" extrusion?

OnShape has an option during extrusion called "through all". Wondering if RepliCAD has the same. Allows me to be less precise about positions & lengths of my negative solids.

It's been awhile but I'm realizing now that most "through-all" is uncommon in code CAD because you want cuts to be within a bounded region usually, avoiding cutting into other features.

Opencascade offers an API to do this - I am playing with ways to expose it that feels natural. I am thinking of an API in that shape:

drawRoundedRectangle(3, 4).punchHole(shape, f => f.inPlane("XY"))

This will create a hole in the shape, from the selected face and through all. There should be some options to punch the hole to a certain depths (and to position the drawing in the face).

That looks like a suitable API for this.

Why not consider adding an option to cut ?

I have considered it - you will be able to have height as an option (to decide of a depth), as well as a draft angle and and origin to position the drawing within the face (by default at the center of the face).

If you update the studio you should be able to play with this.

Also, there is some documentation.

There is a bug when using a height - not sure where the issue is (I tried to look into my logic for meshing the edge, not sure where the issue is).
