Filleting an ellipse often fails

I have tried a couple of variations and the result is pretty conclusive:
When you intesect an ellipse with rectangulare shapes, you get corners.
Using a fillet on a shape like this fails more often than not.
The error is: Point not on curve

Google tells me that these Point (41.2,58.4) not on curve CIRCLE (45.2,62.4) - (41.2,58.4), 0.000000000 errors indicate a target precision of 0.000000000 which is probably the issue here. I found no api in replicad to change the used precision in any way.
